    We are seeking a Product Manager II who is passionate about enabling NGINX in the dynamic world of Kubernetes.

    At F5 NGINX, we support customers on several platforms and environments. Integrations are always about bringing a native platform or tool experience to managing NGINX. NGINX Ingress Controller plays a critical role in enabling enterprises to manage their Layer 7 and Layer 4 application routing rules, API Gateway behavior, and general NGINX settings as a highly scalable integration into Kubernetes.

    This position will

    • Be/become an expert in the product and the surrounding ecosystem.
    • Work with a cross-functional team delivering an open source and enterprise project.
    • Identifying product gaps, clarifying feedback, collaborating with the team, and helping to prioritize while documenting and proactively sharing across multiple stakeholder groups.
    • Promote product strategies and vision across teams and to stakeholders; collaborate and coordinate across organizations to identify and bring forward any questions regarding alignment on product management and release, including tradeoffs, adjustments, and improvements.
    • Create scalable processes to gather and analyze customer experiences and insights, analyze and report on findings, and suggest a follow-on course of action.
    • Identify and recommend success metrics and key results related to established business objectives that enable meaningful progress measurement throughout the product lifecycle.
    • Influence product feature set and positioning strategies using data to improve customer experience and drive growth.

    • Proven track record of crafting and evolving positive customer and partner experiences.
    • Knowledgeable of technical processes, business strategies, and marketing guidelines. Effectively establishes objectives across partner teams with a shared mindset, fostering open dialogue and collaboration.
    • Data driven - uses methodologies, metrics, and analysis to assess performance against business goals.
    • Demonstrated ability to understand basic technical concepts and negotiate feature/tech tradeoffs.
    • Successfully communicates in a variety of settings, delivering messages in a manner that is broadly understandable at all levels; attentively listens and proactively encourages others to share diverse ideas and opinions.
    • Strong customer orientation, able to listen, and prioritize.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technology clearly.
    • Understanding of domain concepts and technologies including HTTP/S, TLS, TCP/UDP, proxy, Docker, containers, Kubernetes, and APIs.
    • Familiarity with DevOps practices, including continuous integration, deployment, delivery, automation, monitoring, and observability.
    • Strong Linux skills; including installation, configuration, and maintaining servers.

    The annual U.S. base pay range for this position is: $127, $191,983.00

    F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5's differing products, industries, and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
