    Job DescriptionSalary: $103k - $134k DOQ

    NOTE: This position is scheduled to start on or around early to mid-April 2024.

    Job Summary

    The General Manager, Pyrolysis Plant will oversee all pyrolysis operations of the plant. This includes safety, quality control, maintenance, accounting, supply and logistics, establishing and executing operational strategy for the plant. Will have significant leadership and management responsibilities for all personnel and respective positions ensuring the proper execution of all responsibilities at every level of the plant.

    Job Duties

    • Leadership:
      - Provide strategic outlook for entire plant operations including setting and revising plant operational policies
      - Maintain ZeroWaste culture by modeling company values, mission, and vision
      - Perform exceptional supervisor/subordinate leadership including regular documented performance management reviews, discussions, and consistent coordination with Executive Leadership and HR
    • Accounting:
      - Provide effective cost accounting of all plant assets, liabilities, etc.
      - Work within designated budget
      - Partner with HR on personnel costs
    • Operational:
      - Establish, maintain, and oversee complete tire pyrolysis process and policies
      - Monitor flow of manufacturing floor to encourage maximum efficiency and cost minimization
      - Maintain high quality standards in all aspects of production
      - Provide regular maintenance for machinery to support efficiency and quality standards
      - Provide insights and recommendations to executive leadershipSafety & Maintenance:
      - Meet and exceed environmental and regulatory compliance requirements (OSHA, PSM, DOT, etc.)
      - Develop, maintain, and properly execute emergency response procedures (including emergency shutdown, OSHA-related issues, pressure relief systems, etc.)
      - Proper storage of all materials, especially volatile chemicals
      - Model exceptional safety standards and encourage others to do likewise
    • Supply & Logistics:
      - Manage production control and methods and distribution
      - Ensure ample supply of raw materials including proper storage and processing
      - Oversee proper storage and timely delivery of quality products to customers

    Education & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree and 6 years experience in a leadership role in manufacturing, or similar industry required.
      • Will accept equivalent combination of education and experience of at least 10 years in materials manufacturing or similar industry.
      • Supervisory experience required.
