POSITION SUMMARY:
The position facilitates to the flow of organization information as an integral part of the hospital team.
Answer and direct incoming facility calls.
Records and routes telephone and in-person messages accurately, completely, and promptly.
Takes a proactive role in resolving any patient/customer service complaints. Independently identifies concerns in stressful situations to offer assistance in a calm demeanor.
Respects confidentiality at all times; follows HIPAA guidelines for disclosing information.
Maintains an accurate record of patients seen each day, personal belongings dropped off, visitation logs, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous receptionist and customer service experience preferred. Knowledge of healthcare setting. Excellent customer service, communication, and problem solving skills.
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
