    Position Summary

    The Tequila category is experiencing explosive growth, and 1800 Tequila is the #1 super premium tequila in the United States. With deep Mexican heritage and a storied legacy of taste, 1800 Tequila boasts the title of the worlds most awarded tequila family.

    We are seeking a brand manager who can develop, implement and manage brand activations across innovation, communications, and commercial to drive consumer increases in brand awareness and purchase. The person who will be successful in this position has strong marketing expertise along with a mindset that is innovative, creative, and passionate about culture (sports, music, art, fashion, and much more). Capable to both lead teams/projects and collaborate with cross-functional partners.

    Role & Responsibilities

    • Lead new product developments that drive consumer demand, collaborating with cross-functional partners in the U.S. and Mexico
    • Execute marketing campaigns that move with the speed of culture in order to remain connected & relevant with consumers and their passion points
    • Partner with external agencies (i.e. creative, digital, social, media) and nurture internal sales team relationships to develop and execute marketing content and activations.
    • Execute marketing campaigns from media-to-shelf considering all touchpoints along the path to purchase, including TV, Digital, OOH, and in-store
    • Partner with Trade Marketing to own the development of commercial selling tools & merchandising materials (sell sheets, displays, POS, etc.) to grow distribution and close the sale at the consumers moment of choice
    • Partner with senior level brand managers to develop brand strategy and plans from ideation through to execution, to drive long-term growth for the brand
    • Coach Assistant Brand Manager to develop capabilities and offer stretch projects to help advance necessary skills sets
    • Monitor brand health and performance tracking (Nielsen, Shipments, Numerator, etc.) and effectively manage brand budgets to optimize marketing spend and ROI

    • Internal: Field Sales, Commercial Team, Finance, Operations, Human Resources, PR & Marketing department
    • External: Distributor Partners, Agency Partners & Advertising/Creative/Social Media/PR

    Knowledge and Experience

    • 4+ years of brand management experience preferably related to the Spirits Industry or FMCG.
    • Experience identifying innovation white spaces; developing new product positioning, packaging, support plans; and launching products to market.
    • Forward thinker, who proactively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions.
    • Up-to-date on marketing trends, new media platforms and benchmarking with other industries
    • Excellent presentation and communication skills to influence decision-making and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
    • Leadership skills to lead and manage projects with cross-functional teams across the company and distributor network.
    • Highly organized with strong time-management skills
    • Team oriented player that thrives in a collaborative environment.
    • Showcase strong analytical skills to make data-informed decisions, track performance for the brand and category, manage budgets, and recognize implications from consumer research
    • Positive attitude
    • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word. Preferable solid working knowledge with Nielsen or IRI.
    • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field (required); advanced degree (preferred)

    The salary range for this role is a base salary of $105,500 - $140,000 along with an annual bonus, 401K match, and medical and wellness benefits. The range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidates experience and skill set against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.
