CHAPLAIN-SUPP/ ON CALL/ PRN/ 8 HRS PER PAY PERIOD/ WEEKENDS & HOLIDAYSAs a full member of the healthcare team, the Support Chaplain participates in the Spiritual Care Department's ministry of presence, spiritual and emotional support, and encouragement for patients, families, and staff. The Support Chaplain also facilitates support groups, provides sacramental and worship opportunities, provides support for patients and families struggling with difficult healthcare decisions, promotes collaboration with local faith communities, and serves as a visible symbol of care for the whole person.
Education
Minimum Level of Education Required: Master's degree
Additional requirements:
Type of degree: Theology, spiritual/pastoral care, or related field
Area of study or major: Divinity, Theology, Pastoral/Spiritual Care
Preferred educational qualifications: 4 Units Clinical Pastoral Education
Experience
Minimum Level of Experience Required: 1 - 3 years of job-related experience
