    Residential Lending Mortgage Loan Originator Role

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Meet with customers to promote Bank products and provide excellent customer service.
    2. Develop and maintain a network of developers, realtors, attorneys, accountants, and other referral sources.
    3. Market and cross-market the Bank's loan and other products and services using approved materials.
    4. Originate new mortgage and home equity loans, obtaining required information and documentation from customers.
    5. Able to work with multiple systems applications to navigate products and recommend solutions from sales leads.
    6. Ability to craft lending products with companion products and pricing for client sales.
    7. Demonstrate solid sales production in volume or units over a sustained timeframe.
    8. Stay informed about different loan options and interview applicants to assess their loan requirements.
    9. Ability to advise applicants on suitable loan options.
    10. Make required disclosures to customers, including loan fees and costs.
    11. Provide progress reports to clients and assist with resolving discrepancies.

    Requirements:

    • Prior experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator is preferred.
    • Prior banking experience is required.
    • Minimum of an Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
    • Business math and basic accounting skills.
    • Ability to analyze and interpret findings and results.
    • Flexibility to learn changing procedures and regulations.
    • Exceptional customer service skills.
    • Valid NMLS registration.
    • Working knowledge of Windows-based software programs.
