    Entry Level Casino Card Department Stock Clerk

    PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS

    1. Provides labor support for the efficient and effective operations of the Card Department.
    2. Performs stock maintenance and organization of designated storage areas.
    3. Delivers and retrieves playing cards and various gaming items to and from designated areas.
    4. Understands and is responsible for department and Company policy and procedure.
    5. Arranges supply of cards for daily casino use.
    6. Participates in the daily/monthly taking of inventories.
    7. Responsible for keeping assigned section safe and orderly.
    8. Follows company policies and procedures and communicates any problem and/or any accidents to immediate supervisor.
    9. Performs all other work-related duties as assigned by Casino Dealer Services Manager.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Work Experience Required:

    1. Entry level position with prior Casino experience preferred.

    Education:

    1. High School Diploma and/or equivalent combination of work experience and education.

    Other Requirements:

    1. Must have knowledge of card deck and shoe cards of all games played in the Casino, including California and poker cards.
    2. Must have excellent vision and dexterity and basic communication skills
    3. Must demonstrate positive/enthusiastic approach to all assignments
    4. Attendance and punctuality are an essential function of the position.

    Must possess an ability to work with minimal supervision and make educated ethical decisions as necessary. Must be able to resolve conflicts and have effective communication skills with all levels of employees and be able to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
