- Act as patient advocate, assisting patients who may have concerns.
- Effectively educate patients on the benefits of orthodontic treatment.
- Prepare treatment plans and make financial arrangements per practice guidelines.
- Prepare and present financial options to encourage patients to say "Yes" to comprehensive care options.
- Valid license to practice
- Electronic billing and billing knowledge.
- Ability to meet monthly production/collection goals.
- Proficiency in communication and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with financing such as Care Credit/Lending club and.
- Ability to multitask while maintaining a calm, confident demeanor.
- Ability to review the patient's clinical history including review of x-rays, notes, and images as needed.
- Ability to interact with staff and patients as a professional and maintain a collaborative approach.
- Flexibility to use technology including computers, internet, spreadsheets, etc for additional administrative.
- Strong knowledge of financial options offered by the practice and how to use them to make care affordable for the patient.
