    An Insight Global client and company in the eVTOL industry is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer This Senior Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, deploying, and administering cloud-based solutions in Azure. The role will ensure the cloud systems adhere to organizational, industry, and security standards. An in-depth understanding of Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, and security is required to be successful in the role.

    This position will be required to work on-site 5 days a week and MUST be able to work directly on a W2 without sponsorship. Annual base salary is offered anywhere between $150,000 to $200,000 with a 10% bonus and additional benefits.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Design, deploy and maintain complex Azure-based infrastructure and solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for cloud-based projects
    • Working with consultants and vendors on projects and/or for additional support
    • Manage and optimize our data analytics infrastructure (Databricks and Snowflake), including monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining high availability
    • Develop and maintain automation scripts and infrastructure as code templates for deploying Azure resources
    • Assisting with escalated support related to our Azure environment
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure-based infrastructure and applications
    • Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in collaboration with our security team
    • Manage and monitor Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and network components
    • Routinely review and suggest improvements to our Azure environment
    • Design and implement disaster recovery and business continuity strategies
    • Act as a mentor to other cloud engineers and provide technical guidance and support
    • May require up to 10% of domestic and international travel
    • Other duties as assigned

    Required skills and experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or a related field required
    • 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management and engineering, with a focus on Azure required
    • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools, such as Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, and Jenkins
    • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
    • Experience managing Databricks and Snowflake infrastructure
    • Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and load balancing
    • Experience with PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages
    • Microsoft Azure certifications, such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or - Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, are preferred
