    About the Role:

    As a Senior Civil Engineer at our Orange County office, you will take a pivotal role in managing and executing impactful land development projects from concept to completion. Join our cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery, leveraging your expertise to navigate regulatory requirements and solve complex engineering challenges.

    What You'll Be Doing:

    • Drive the design and development of land development projects with a focus on grading and drainage design, low impact development (LID), and water and sanitary sewer design, contributing expertise and guidance through all project phases.
    • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure an integrated and efficient project delivery, engaging with clients to understand their objectives and effectively communicate project progress and design solutions.
    • Oversee and verify design calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports to ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance, and adherence to project requirements, taking overall responsibility for the design of specific projects.
    • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with design plans and specifications.
    • Mentor and guide junior engineers and contribute to their professional growth

    Who We're Looking For:

    • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
    • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate within a teamwork environment.
    • Proficiency in utilizing common computer software programs for civil engineering design, including AutoCAD, Civil3D, Hydrology and Hydraulic software, WaterCAD, and Flowmaster.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Professional Engineer (PE) license in California.
    • Demonstrated experience in land development, including design coordination, permitting, and construction administration.
    • Familiarity with design coordination among various disciplines to achieve integrated project solutions.

    Physical Demands and Work Environment:

    • Ability to move around client and work sites, climb ladders, and traverse uneven terrain.
    • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working on a computer, reviewing plans, or conducting site visits.
    • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds of equipment or materials.
