    Description

    The Civil PM will play a key role in collaborative project teams, focusing on civil engineering projects within the renewable energy and power delivery sectors, this position reports to the Director of Civil Engineering.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead and coordinate multiple project teams, ensuring effective client and team communication.
    • Collaborate seamlessly with various disciplines including survey, electrical, structural, and geotechnical engineering.
    • Determine staffing needs and resource allocation across multiple projects.
    • Provide mentorship and leadership to project teams.
    • Conduct regular project reviews to ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.
    • Oversee the implementation of QA/QC procedures and perform quality control reviews.
    • Evaluate existing procedures and suggest improvements to enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
    • Engage in business development activities with both existing and potential clients.
    • Participate in the interview process for new hires and conduct performance reviews.
    • Prepare proposals for new project opportunities.
    • Serve as a technical expert in the civil-solar field.
    • Coordinate contract reviews, identify scope changes, and prepare change orders.
    QUALIFICATIONS
    • 5-10 years of relevant experience, including 2-3 years in the solar industry.
    • Proficiency in civil engineering aspects of solar projects, including layout design, grading plans, erosion control, permitting, and SWPPP.
    • Experience in personnel management and conducting performance evaluations.
    • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
    • Professional Engineer (PE) License.
    • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil3D.
    • Background in designing and permitting stormwater management systems.
    • Familiarity with erosion control design and Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans.
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and flexibility.
    • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team player.
