The successful candidate will be entrusted with a dual role that involves managing both the daily financial operations and the activities of the
PMO
to ensure compliance with Department of Defense
(DoD)
regulations and alignment with our company objectives.
This includes developing and maintaining robust financial models and forecasts, preparing, and analyzing detailed financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders, and leading the budget planning and execution process.
The role also demands collaboration with project managers, financial analysts, program managers, and leadership to ensure all projects are in strict alignment with contractual requirements.
The individual will spearhead the development, management, and execution of all
PMOprocesses and provide expert analytical oversight for various projects.
Additionally, this position involves training and guiding junior analysts and finance team members on DoD regulations, financial controls, and
PMOprocesses, while implementing and maintaining rigorous financial controls and audit processes to ensure data integrity and compliance.
The role requires strategic direction in managing multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, applying advanced project management methodologies and best practices to drive project execution effectively and align with our company's standards and objectives.

certification or other project management credentials, as well as CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CMA (Certified Management Accountant), or other relevant financial certifications.
Technical proficiency should include the use of financial management software, ERPs, and other relevant tools, as well as advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial modeling techniques.
