    Position Summary

    We are seeking an experienced candidate to join our team as a Project Manager.

    The successful candidate will be calm under pressure, self-motivated, flexible, and able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities with an unwavering attention to detail at all times.

    Experience working in complex environments and tight delivery timelines.

    The role of the Project Manager supports the Virtual Production team across a variety of duties including but not limited to engaging with technology vendors, tracking project progress, scheduling, budgeting, communication with stakeholders, and supporting various projects across the company portfolio.

    A successful candidate will be someone who is an impactful and proactive thinker and challenges prevailing assumptions to help us deliver projects on budget and on time.

    This is a demanding and fast moving position that requires an effective communicator who is able to exercise good judgement and demonstrates initiative.

    This individual will primarily be managing the day-to-day duties of the company's domestic and international projects.


    We're searching for a highly-skilled project manager to contribute to NantStudios growth and help us maintain our position as an innovative authority.

    The ideal candidate will have production experience as well as strong work plan development and progress oversight skills.

    He/She will be expected to prepare and present progress updates to appropriate management and stakeholder channels on a regular basis, ensuring the innovation we seek is being achieved.

    Responsibilities

    Establish and maintain processes to manage scope over the project lifecycle, setting project quality and performance standards, and assessing and managing risk within, and across, multiple projects
    Monitor and assign resources appropriately to streamline project efficiency and maximize deliverable outputs
    Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, providing purpose, direction, and motivation
    Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation
    Structure and manage integrated, multi-track project performance databases for multiple digital, print, social, broadcast, and experiential projects, with an eye on overall progress
    Maintains high client service levels and integrity of department. Maintains daily and weekly communication with production teams and throughout the company.
    To coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets, in collaboration with project staff from various functional departments
    Analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope, timelines, and costs to ensure that project team adheres to project requirements
    Develop and maintain partnerships with outside resources—including third-party vendors and researchers
    Responsible for all ordering of production and administrative supplies based on requests from area leads.
    Maintains a vendor contact list, price lists, and purchase requisition database.
    Performs special projects under the supervision of the Virtual Production supervision team.
    Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels as needed—escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans
    Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes
    Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience
    Required plus 3-5 years of related experience, preferably in entertainment based ventures.
    7+ years project management experience
    Hands-on experience with developing web technologies and software platforms for maximum usability
    Proven success working with all levels of management
    Strong written and verbal communication skills
    Strong presentation skills
    Must have strong client service and communication skills.
    Must be detail and solution oriented.
    Strong organizational skills to deal with disparate physical and digital datasets.
    Ability to work independently and with a team.
    Must have the ability to juggle multiple projects, work with diverse personalities and work within strict deadlines.
    Proven ability to provide innovative troubleshooting in a fast paced environment.
    Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a discreet, diplomatic, and professional manner.
    Knowledge of Filemaker Pro preferred.
    Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
    Competencies – Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    Previous success in producing deliverable software platforms
    Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines
    Experience developing in-house platforms for internal processes
    Experience coaching and educating project teams to strengthen team members' capabilities and skill sets.
    This position will be a temporary position with an expected duration of 8 months.

    Salary:
    $50.00 to $60.00 per hour


    This is the pay range the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of this posting.

    Compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position.
