    Description

    Job Description

    Bearon Manufacturing is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team in Landisville, PA. As an experienced CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC Machines efficiently. Additionally, you will conduct advanced setup operations and program numerically controlled machine tools for machining tasks across various work types. The ideal candidate should have a mechanical aptitude, the ability to follow instructions, and work independently. Join us and be part of shaping the future of our production operations!

    Responsibilities include:

    • Prepare and operate CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications
    • Conduct quality control inspections on parts
    • Perform routine machine maintenance while ensuring safety protocols are followed
    • Document and report production records and machine reports
    • Collaborate with the team to identify ways to optimize machining processes

    Key Competencies required:

    • High School diploma or equivalent; completion of a relevant trade school is desirable
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in CNC machine operation
    • Mechanical aptitude and ability to develop programming skills
    • Positive attitude, punctuality, and attendance
    • Proficiency in reading blueprints and using hand tools
    • Ability to handle measuring tools and apply shop mathematics
    • Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting weights up to 70 pounds
    • Openness to learning new techniques and processes
    • Prior experience as a CNC operator is advantageous
    • Background in the metal manufacturing industry is a plus
