    Installs and updates computer and device software and hardware components for end users and optimizes the efficiency and effectiveness of computer devices. Evaluates work environments for appropriate network wiring and electrical connections and coordinates the movement of computers and related equipment. Resolves issues with end users' experience accessing applications and technologies and ensures end users are effectively oriented to optimum use of devices and end user tools and applications. Also performs routine maintenance on computer and peripheral equipment.

    Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations. Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict.

    Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned. Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency. Must comply with all Benefis Health System's organization policies and procedures.

    Education/License/Experience Requirements:
    • 8+ years of information technology experience.
    • Deliver 7 day, 24 hour, on call high-quality technical support in a courteous, professional manner.
    • Coordination and setup of Audio-Visual requirements for on-site and remote Senior Executive meetings
    • Support IT special projects, office moves, data recovery, hardware, software testing, network and network hardware troubleshooting, etc..
    • Knowledge of network switching and routing.
    • Technical certification and training highly preferred.
    • Experience in hardware and software installation and customer education. Proven ability to configure, diagnose, and master use of user devices.
    • Familiar with current end user device technology and trends.
    • Hospital or medical information systems experience preferred.
    • Trains/mentors new hires.
    • Works with minimal supervision.
