    Spherion Staffing is looking for a Finance Director to provide management of accounting, debt/treasury management, special assessments, utility billing, budgeting, accounts payable/receivable, and investments of the company.

    This individual also provides management, leadership, and coordination over all areas of fiscal operations, forecasting, and analysis for the company.

    Salary $120-150k/year DOEResponsibilities:
    • Direct the daily financial administration including: develop, execute, and manage the annual budget; manage investments; reconcile monthly bank statements; prepare various financial statements; perform short
    • term and long
    • term financial analysis and planning
    • Supervise and manage staff engaged in maintaining the general ledger, payroll, purchasing, capital asset records, utility accounts, receipt and disbursement of funds, and budgetary functions
    • Establish guidelines and policies to ensure effective and efficient operations; organize regular meetings; review, plan, and assign duties; direct the work of staff; oversee staff training and development; provide work directives and guidance
    • Implement, direct and monitor internal financial controls, including controls for utility billing, cash receipting, payroll, fixed assets, special assessments, capital projects and construction contracts; oversees the collection and disbursement of company funds; monitor and ensure the compliance of all policies and local, state and federal laws and regulations
    • Monitor all financial and software systems and procedures; determine when upgrades, changes or additional ERP software or products are needed to keep processes efficient and accurateWorking hours: Various Shifts AvailableSkills:See belowEducation:BachelorsExperience:7-10 yearsQualifications:
    • Bachelor???s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field
    • Eight years of experience in local government financial management preferred
    • Three or more years of payroll experience
    • Five or more years of supervisory experience
    • Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable
    • Ability to create and maintain effective working relationships with peers, superiors, other City departments, subordinates, vendors, contractors, external government agencies and organizations
