    Executive Director

    Center for Excellence in Teaching, Learning, and Online Education

    Georgia State University—among the most accessible and innovative universities in the nation—invites nominations and applications for the position of Executive Director of the Center for Excellence in Teaching, Learning, and Online Education (CETLOE).

    Reporting to the Senior Associate Provost for Academic Affairs, the Executive Director will be a seasoned and strategic leader who will advance excellence in faculty instructional effectiveness and teaching and learning innovation. The Executive Director will serve as a key strategic partner and campus resource, leading six teams responsible for teaching effectiveness, learning environments (including the learning management system and associated tools), instructional and multimedia design, teaching with technology, learning analytics, and learning community development.

    The successful candidate will possess a doctoral degree, a demonstrated record of scholarship, a minimum of five years of experience in faculty instructional development, a record of teaching excellence in a university setting, and eligibility for a faculty appointment at Georgia State University.
