    Job Description

    Nurse Practitioner provides professional nursing care to patients and significant others through direct and/or telephone contact, adhering to established standards and practices.

    The role involves coordinating with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery, maximal coordination of efforts, and active patient participation in planning and care.

    This position assists physicians or other providers with clinical procedures, performs telephone triage as needed, and participates in patient teaching.

    The Nurse Practitioner provides direction to licensed practical nurses, clerical assistants, medical assistants, and other non-licensed personnel.

    Salary Range:

    $85 per hour to $88 per hour

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide professional nursing care to patients and significant others
    • Coordinate with the care team for seamless care delivery
    • Assist physicians or other providers with clinical procedures
    • Perform telephone triage as needed
    • Participate in patient teaching

    Qualifications:

    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
    • Registered nurse licensed to practice in Florida with current Florida registration and in good standing

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Minimum of one year experience as a registered nurse or two years as a licensed practical nurse in a pertinent practice area
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.)
    • Current BLS certification
