WITHIN YOUR TEAM

Our Maintenance of Line engineering team supports all types of product line related issues, including product escalations, quality issues, regulatory, supplier risk mitigation/shortage and product obsolescence projects.

THIS JOB IS A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO:

Someone who has solid hands-on problem-solving skills, especially experience with industrial coding equipment. Someone who is passionate to drive cross functional project team to deliver results on time, on spec and on cost.

WITHIN YOUR ROLE, YOU WILL:

• Investigate root cause of product issues following formal problem solving process (DBS PSP) and identify technical/design solutions.
• Identify requirements and develop Test Plans to validate design solutions.
• Work with regulatory department and 3rd party testing agencies (UL, Intertek, SGS, BV etc.)to ensure product changes meet regulatory requirements.
• Verify design using lab testing, analysis, and simulation tools.
• Manage projects and work with cross functional teams to create project timelines, deliverables, and track status. Act as technical leader and interact with regulatory, manufacturing, procurement, tech support, quality, product management, and outside suppliers to ensure timely and effective delivery of solutions into production following and utilizing VTI ECO process and tools.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PROFESSIONAL WHO IS:

• Demonstrated skills and experience with several of the following: digital circuits, Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Layout, microprocessors, control systems, FPGA, and electromechanical interfaces.
• Experience with hands-on electromechanical equipment in lab and factory setting.
• Demonstrated skills in determining root cause and implementing effective corrective actions. Experience with any of the following formal problem-solving skills is highly desired: RCCM, 5 Why's, CAPA, DMAIC.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a team-based environment.
• Excellent communication skills.

YOUR EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND EXPERIENCE WILL INCLUDE:

• 7-10 years working with industrial coding equipment, or similar line of products.
• BS in Electrical Engineering. Advance degree is a plus.
