Serving three primary markets - passenger vehicle, commercial truck, and off-highway equipment - Dana provides the world's original-equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities.
Responsibilities:
Support 5 S's activities in shopfloor.
LABELING RACKS,
COLOR-CODING TOOLS in Assembly
Mark floor for Material staging areas.
Support Lead Time Reduction Strategy - Data Analysis
Performing data collection and analysis, including recording videos
Support 5S's Global Assessment Deployment
Helping to ensure projects are completed on time.
Knowledge & Skills Summary:
Computer proficient (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Simulation Software - Arena, FlexSim, etc.
Experience and/or knowledge on Time and Motions - Time Studies
Knowledge of basic lean tools - 5S's, SMED, Value Stream Map, etc.
Experience and/or knowledge working in or around machine shop or machining is a plus
Education and Experience:
An in-process Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Industrial Engineering. Ability to work with people in an industrial environment.
