Description

A dynamic & growing Consulting Firm has an immediate need for a Senior Associate out of a publicly traded company or public accounting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with the firms clients to prepare financial statements according to GAAP, prepare SEC filings, review and test financial controls, and other related tasks.

Responsibilities Include:
Manage day-to-day operations of multiple, concurrent client engagementsPrimary liaison between client and other working group members (auditors, attorneys, etc.)

Conduct proper up-front planning in order to ensure efficient and effective engagementWork with project group members (client, auditors, attorneys) to ensure timely filingsWork alongside staff in order to complete financial statement close and other pre-audit procedures, preparation of financial statements, footnotes and other disclosures required in SEC filingsQualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field3+ years of experience in a corporate or public accounting settingStrong communication skillsUnderstanding of basic accounting principles

Preferred Skills:

Prior auditor or public company (SEC) experience preferredMBA or Masters in AccountingCPA or CPA Track preferredPreferred:Prior auditor or public company (SEC) experience preferredCPA or CPA Track preferredCompensation: $80,000 - $100,000Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications .
