    Description

    Job Summary:

    As a Sales Agent in our local office, you will provide outstanding service while identifying new sales leads through inbound quote opportunities and maintaining current business levels in order to achieve or exceed sales goals.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Quoting and binding new business policies
    • Contacting and following up on new business leads
    • Educating customers on current products and services
    • Responding to incoming calls, chats, and other correspondence in accordance with Company and departmental quality standards
    • Maintaining effective communication with team members and promoting a strong team focus
    • Properly utilizing all policy management systems and understanding their features and functionality
    • Meeting established department goals and objectives
    • Organizing work schedule to achieve timely processing of all responsibilities
    • Any other projects and tasks assigned by supervisor


    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    Required

    • Bachelor's degree
    • High school diploma
    • Active Texas P&C license
    • Bilingual (English-Spanish)
    Preferred
    • 2 years of post-secondary education
    • 1-2 years of customer service call center experience
    • 1-2 years of sales and /or insurance sales experience

    Core Competencies:

    • Strong phone-selling skill set
    • Excellent verbal, written and PC skills
    • Must be able to work in a competitive, fast-paced, production environment.
    • Maintain professionalism and an acceptable level of integrity
    • Meet guidelines for attendance/punctuality and be receptive to flexible work hours as needed
