    The Cox Automotive Data Marketplace team is hiring a Senior Product Owner to join ourteam. In this pivotal role, you'll spearhead the onboarding of newdata sets into the Data Marketplace, while also shaping acomprehensive data catalog for our customers. The Data Marketplaceis the way we allow users to discover data across the enterprise,share data in a centralized data repository, and access datarequired to meet business goals and build exciting new products andservices. The Senior Product Owner will define user stories,prioritize the team backlog, contribute a solid understanding ofend users and their needs, and identify future capabilities toimprove the experience of onboarding new data to the DataMarketplace. Expect frequent engagement with end users at allorganizational levels-business, analysts, data scientists, andtechnology teams. Your adept organizational and interpersonalskills will provide guidance to teams about data acquisitionpatterns, provide product guidance and prioritization to theengineering team, ensure seamless communication by keepingconsumers informed about timelines, addressing any issues, andensuring timely delivery, and providing input to the DataMarketplace Release Train for product and processimprovements.

    Job Duties
    • Lead anoperational engineering team to onboard new data offerings onto theData Marketplace and market the new offerings through our DataMarketplace Storefront.
    • Craft descriptionsand provide insight into pertinent attributes for new data setswith data suppliers to improve consumer searchexperience.
    • Coordinate with data suppliers toset delivery expectations and identify potential risks.
    • Coordinate with data suppliers to sunset discontinueddata offerings or migrate consumers to new ones whenavailable.
    • Own, prioritize, and maintain aworking backlog for an operational engineering deliveryteam.
    • Accept andreview completed stories with a focus on quality.
    • Provide input and conceive ideas for enhancing productperformance and shaping product roadmaps.
    • Provide consulting guidance to teams on the most appropriate dataacquisition pattern for each use case.
    • Serveas the "voice of the customer" to the delivery team by representingand reinforcing the customer's perspective throughout the ingestionprocess.
    • Act as thesubject-matter expert for the Data Marketplace to externalstakeholders and customers.
    • Communicate newingestions through release notes and speak to exciting new dataofferings to stakeholders and leadership.
    • Communicate status, risks, and requirementsto leadership and partner groups.
    • Develop andmaintain effective working relationships with consumers andsuppliers of data for the Data Marketplace across CoxAutomotive.
    • Settle disputes between partieseffectively and for the best of Cox Automotive; be autonomous andmake decisions without oversight when appropriate.
    Qualifications
    • Abachelor's degree in computer science or related field and 4+ yearsof experience. The right candidate could also have a differentcombination, such as a master's degree and 2 years of experience; aPh.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years of experience in arelated field.
    • 3+ years of experienceorganizing work and onboarding clients on to a technicalproduct
    • Experience organizing and executingmultiple projects at a time.
    • Demonstratedexperience working with highly technical teams working on clouddata engineering or within the domain of data or analyticsplatforms to onboard new clients.
    • Proven ability to be self-directed and operateeffectively in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
    • Creative thinker with an open mind to learn and explorenew areas and to develop and recommend opportunities andsolutions.
    • Demonstrated effective leadershipby earning trust, respect, and fostering the development ofself-organizing teams.
    • Excellent written andverbal communication abilities; ability to give clear andconsistent instructions to team members required.
    • Ability to communicate ideas, alternatives, andsolutions with distributed teams.
    • Passionateabout solving data management problems.
    • Enthusiastic about what you do and use that to help motivatediverse groups.
    • Ability to handle multipleissues concurrently and effectively navigate high-pressuresituations.
    • Automotive experience is aplus.
    • Preferred experience working in anagile environment.
    • 10%+ time travelrequirement.

    Compensation:

    Compensationincludes a base salary of $88, $147, The base salarymay vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factorssuch as the ultimate location of the position and the selectedcandidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may beeligible for additional compensation that may include an incentiveprogram.
