    Job duties:


    Develop, execute and promote the Company's position in the communities in which it operates; identifies opportunities and integrates efforts to create opportunities to advance Constellation's public policy agenda and community relations activities in various locations of the company.

    Serve as Public Affairs lead on all state-based economic development programs which contribute to the company's bottom line.
    Establish, maintain and support positive working relationships governmental, community, trade, industry, private and public sectors in U.S. and Mexico.

    Develop opportunities to coordinate and integrate assets that achieve collective strategic goals across the company's functions in Total Beverage Alcohol.

    Work cross-functionally across all aspects of the business on major legislative, regulatory and political issues which impact CBI.

    Lead team in Mexico to assure we are advocating for policies important to CBI in both the US and Mexico, aligning activities to support the business.

    Lead Public Affairs relationship with Constellation Venture partners to advance, protect and support their business and demonstrate our investment in the next generation of entrepreneurs in our industry.

    Develop and execute Constellation's PAC strategy, events and communications; ensure compliance with legal and finance teams and manages PAC team outreach, PAC match, tracking and execution.

    Extend Constellation's visibility and impact through participation in trade associations, local/national community groups, NGOs, Think Tanks, and other organizations.

    Coordinate events related to government and community relations that expand the visibility and awareness of Constellation's values both internally and externally.

    Managing and directing outside contracts and compliance with outside counsel, associations and public sponsorships.

    Support SVP in oversight of other team members, specific budget items and assisting with internal flow of communication within the department.

    Provide support to SVP in developing, managing and maintaining the departmental budget.

    Job Requirements:
    Juris Doctor or equivalent degree and 10 years of relevant experience with Mexican beverage alcohol production and distribution


    Experience must include:


    Water, manufacturing, operations and logistics regulations and requirements applicable to the Mexican beer industry including Water Law, Environmental Law, US - Mexico international water treaties, US - Mexico - Canada Trade Agreement, Labor Law and Mexican National Development Program.

    Working with U.S. Customs and Border Protection relative to transportation of Mexican beer from Mexico to the U.S. including compliance with all laws and regulatory requirements

    Working with Mexican state and local government agencies including National Water Commission, Ministry of Transportation, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of International Affairs, Mexican Customs, Federal Senate and House of Representatives and specifically with the following committees: Hydrologic Resources, International Trade, Transportation, and Economic Development to support the manufacture and distribution of Mexican beer.

    Addressing supply chain issues in Mexico and the U.S.

    impacting the beer industry such as disputes under USMCA (Trading Agreement), federal executive branch decrees, state, and local public policies on border locations in U.S and Mexico, union strikes, and humanitarian and environmental crises.

    Ability to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.
    Partial weekly work from home is allowed on a regular basis.

    Salary:
    $240,656.00
