    Position Information:
    The Team Leader Patient Insurance Rep will help patients seamlessly navigate complex billing financial and insurance workflows.

    The Team Leader Patient Insurance Rep is responsible for coordinating with physician practices and insurance companies to obtain authorization for scheduled surgeries and procedures.

    The Team Leader Patient Insurance Rep will accurately perform administrative duties required to provide estimates confirm insurance secure authorizations answer billing questions provide estimates and collect payments.

    The Team Leader Patient Insurance Rep will manage authorization estimate and billing work queues will serve as a mentor for Patient Insurance Representative peers and will assist with training new employees.

    As a liaison to patients the community and healthcare professionals this position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills to ensure delivery of the highest quality customer service.

    The Team Leader Patient Insurance Rep work environment may be in the practice or in a call center. This task-based metrics driven position reviews and interprets insurance authorization coverage online and through conversations with insurance company representatives.

    The Team Leader Patient Insurance Rep supports multiple specialties reviews patient charts communicates with the physician office to obtain needed information and relays necessary information to the insurance company.


    Experience Requirements:
    2 Years Healthcare Required

    Education Required:
    High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

    Licensure/Certification Requirements:

    Hours of Work:
    8:00a-4:30p, M-F


    Weekend Requirements:
    No Weekends
