    Lutherdale provides a year-round ministry of hospitality for youth, families, and adults. Summer is busy with camp programs for children, youth and families of all denominations. During the fall, winter, and spring the facility is bustling with retreat & conferences for adults, youth, and congregations.

    Lutherdale has both large and small meeting rooms spaces to accommodate weddings, day use group meetings, and banquets. Youth groups, family groups, public and private schools, college groups and more are customizing high-adventure and group-building retreats with our Eagles Nest Adventure Center. Lutherdale is North of Elkhorn, WI on beautiful spring-fed Lauderdale Lake.

    Role Description

    This is a full-time, on-site role located in Elkhorn, WI for an Adult and Family Program Director. The Adult and Family Program Director will oversee the coordination and implementation of adult and family programming, leading strategic planning and development, fundraising and budgeting, as well as providing daily program direction and leadership to staff. The Adult and Family Program Director will work alongside the Executive Director and the Youth Program Director creating robust and innovative programs for the adult and family groups who attend camps and retreats at Lutherdale. This position will also oversee our travel ministry program

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Ministry, Hospitality, Business Administration, Non-profit Management, or related field
    • 3-5 years of experience in ministry, program development and management preferred.
    • Strong organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication, customer service, and leadership skills
    • Demonstrated experience in managing and leading a team, including experience with hiring, developing, and coaching staff
    • Knowledge of the Bible, Lutheran theology and the unique components of church summer camps is helpful but not required

    Compensation

    Full Time, salary position with benefits. Onsite Housing Provided.
