Description

We are currently assisting our client, a Tier 1 Automotive manufacturer, with a Human Resources Manager located near Wooster, OH. The successful candidate will be the strategic and operational human resources leader for a large manufacturing facility and be pivotal in the strategies and functions of the site. This is a highly visible, high impact position where a successful candidate will have the opportunity to play a decisive role in the future success and growth of the organization.

Responsibilities:

Functions as a member of senior management team setting strategic direction for the success and growth of all businesses
Collaborates with business partners to implement strategic initiatives resulting in continuous improvement, enhanced employee engagement, improved working relationships, and positive business results
Participates in the development and implementation of financial budgets
Implements an efficient and integrated strategy for staffing, recruiting, induction, training, career management, etc. at site level
Guarantees working conditions in compliance with Group Health, Safety & Environment policies
Manages industrial relations with local employee representatives

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree; a major in business, human resources, psychology or related field preferred
Minimum of 5-7 years related human resources generalist leadership experience, including a solid employee relations background
Labor Relations Experience preferred
Experience in automotive industry preferred
