    The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Office of Quality Schools Student Support Services section, provides support to educators, administrators, students, and families with resources in relation to students who are identified as Homeless, English Learner, Immigrant, or placed in foster or correctional settings.
    • Develop and maintain a uniform system of automated, consolidated applications, amendments, and final expenditure reports with the Federal Financial Accounting Section.
    • Review and interpret state and federal regulations.
    • Review and approve statewide schools' educational plans for Title I.D and Title III programs of the Elementary and Secondary Schools Act (ESEA).
    • Monitor and review statewide for compliance schools' educational policies/programs for Title III programs of the (ESEA)and the requirements of the Lau Plan.
    • Provide statewide technical assistance schools for Title I.D, and Title III programs of the (ESEA).
    • Draft, print, and disseminate guidance and related information using a variety of technological and print media.
    • Monitor schools for compliance with state and federal regulations.
    • Monitor statewide schools' activities through Core Data and ePeGS automated systems to reconcile expenditures, plans and allowable use of funds.
    • Process and approve the program portion of all state and federal applications and amendments.
    • Conduct application and federal administrative workshops.
    • Assist with logistics, materials, registration, and agendas, for meetings, and workshops to support the section's activities.
    • Collect, organize and, with the Federal Programs Unit and the Accountability Data and Accreditation Section, analyze evaluation data for decision making.
    • Demonstrate regular and reliable attendance.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in education, accounting, business administration, or closely related field.
    OR
    • Four or more years progressive experience in compliance related work in education, accounting, business administration, or closely related experience.
