    Job Summary:

    • Produces high quality images for interpretation by physicians that meet the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Radiology Departments.
    -Requires competence, as determined by competency assessments, in a variety of imaging equipment and technology. -Practices proper safety guidelines for themselves, support personnel, and patients. -Fosters teamwork through effective communication. -Ensures high level of service to patients through proper communication, technique, and safety guidelines. -Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths. -Perform other functional duties as assigned to assure efficient and optimal patient care.
    Schedule: 40 hrs/wk, mainly 8 hr shifts with 10 hour shifts associated with weekends. Weekend schedule details discussed during interview.

    Start times vary between 6:30AM - 12:30PM and end times will be - 9PM.
    Overnight/evening shifts (although rare) may also be required as needed

    Required Skills & Experience:

    • Organized, efficient, and multifunctional.
    -Ability to work independently. -Requires excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrates effective communication. -Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths, and respond to an on-call pager which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.


    Preferred Skills & Experience:

    • Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist experience preferred.

    Required Education:

    • Graduate of an accredited radiography program

    Preferred Education:

    • N/A Required Certifications & Licensure:
    • ARRT certified in Radiography.
    -Appropriate state licensure from the state in which the candidate practices (if the state requires licensure). -BLS Preferred Certifications & Licensure: -ARRT (CT) preferred.

    Required by start date for travelers: ARRT CT and BLS
