Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Radiation Therapist to administer prescribed doses of radiation to specific body parts using radiation therapy equipment. The ideal candidate will be able to position patients accurately, prepare equipment, and perform machine safety checks.

• Administer radiation treatments with precision and accuracy
• Position patients safely and comfortably for treatment
• Prepare equipment and devices for radiation therapy
• Perform regular maintenance and safety checks on equipment

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology (RTT) or related field
• Board Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiation Therapy (RTT)
• Licensure in the state of employment
• Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• 1 year of experience in radiation therapy (preferred)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift patients who require assistance
• Detailed orientation and strong communication skills
