What you will have an opportunity to do:
Starbucks Barista needed Full Time at Marriott Fort Lauderdale North
- Available to work early mornings, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Maintain a professional presence at the barista station at all times.
- Engage with and understand our customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication
- Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients
- Know the script, drink menu, and hours of operation.
- Complete pre, running, and post shift side-work requirements.
- Know all pricing, promotions, and discounts that apply to pricing.
- Knowledge of all amenities to properly transact and deliver to its completion.
- Responsibilities for maintaining proper levels of product stock throughout. Responsible for ensuring that all soiled dishes are returned to the proper area of stewarding and supplies are placed in their proper area.
- Responsible for opening, closing, and running duties of cash handling policies and cash out process.
- Adhere to all internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Maintains all professional presence at the restaurant's entrance at all times.
- Graciously manages the waiting line and effectively and efficiently.
- Responsible for the cleanliness of bar/barista area.
- Adheres to all internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain a cheerful, positive attitude and appropriate conduct with both guests and teammates at all times.
