The team is responsible for onboarding and servicing clients in the most efficient and client-centric manner and by maintaining a lens on continuous improvement.
The ultimate outcome is to ensure clients are successful in achieving the value they expected by doing business with us, and become advocates of KeyBank in the process.
The Onboarding Project Manager is a dynamic role which owns the end-to-end onboarding experience for the client.They are KeyBank's primary point of contact, leading commercial clients through the post-sales experience to ensure clients are quickly and effectively using Key's products and services.
Onboarding projects can range in size and complexity, and the Onboarding Project Manager will be expected to actively manage multiple projects at a time in various stages of completion.
The Onboarding Project Manager will work closely with clients, FinTech partners, sales, and back-office support teams to ensure successful and timely implementations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSResponsible for overseeing assigned onboarding packages; ensuring completion of agreements, configuration, training and adoption of new solutions.Lead meetings with stakeholders, including sales team members, clients, vendor representatives and other partners.
Clearly understand and articulate our clients' priorities, objectives and expectations.
Create material to scope and plan onboarding projects, maintain transparency, and manage stakeholder expectations.
Drive on-time fulfillment of SLA commitments by promoting stakeholder accountability, mitigating project issues and risks, and adapting to project changes.
Continually develop expertise in Key's products and how they respond to each industry's unique needs and requirements to close the gaps between current solution capabilities and our client's needs.
Coordinate post-onboarding transition to Business as usual (BAU) support in partnership with the relationship teamFully understand and adhere to KeyBank policies and procedures regarding business resiliency including maintenance and retention of project plans, work completion, and system recordsAdhere to all Risk policies and procedures.
Limited travel required.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree5-7 years of Project Management or related experience; treasury, payments or banking experience preferredPossess strong project management, problem solving, critical thinking, with strong written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated application of project lifecycle and design phases, while working closely with partners (internal and/or external)Excellent interpersonal and client facing skills, driving an exceptional client experienceHighly effective working independently with little supervision and comfortable making difficult decisionsExcellent organizational skills with the ability to set priorities and handle difficult situations while maintaining strong personal relationshipsSelf-motivated with ability to participate effectively in a highly collaborative work team environmentHigh technical aptitude and attention to detail with strong follow throughProven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a commitment and willingness to strive toward achieving company goalsProject Management or Business Analyst experience )Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ProjectPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSProject Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or similar CertificationExperience with Cash Management productsHandle complex situations and make decisions independentlyExperience using Salesforce or similar CRM platform

Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
