Job DescriptionDelivery LeadDHHS Information System and Technology (IS&T) is seeking to hire a Delivery Lead to keep multiple projects on track and ensuring one or many IT delivery teams work is completed on time and according to process and specifications.

The IT delivery teams are cross functional teams comprised of Business Analysts (BA), Senior BAs, Testers, and Technical Analysts (TA).

This role works with the portfolio management team to manage the division or program backlog and assigns work to the IT delivery team members.

The Delivery Lead may, at times, perform business process analysis, design, testing or other system support needed within the IT delivery team.

Responsibilities:
Serves as functional lead (coordinates work efforts, assigns work, prepares project/work plansMonitors work progress and prepares project progress reportsIs aligned to priorities for the technical teams and customers, and ensures delivery team work supports theseManagement and tracking of commitmentsProvides proactive visibility and effectively communicates delivery targets, commitments and progressUnderstands and monitors team capacity and assignmentsWorks to minimize meetings, but when needed, they are well-run and efficientCoaches the team to improve collaboration and outcomesManages and coordinates cross team dependenciesActively works to identify and manage impediments, and escalates appropriatelyConduct Scope inquiries and facilitate business requirements sessions as neededConsult with leadership on system best practicesAssist in documentation of business processes, business rules, policies and standardsCommunicate with business and technical team membersQualifications:SDLC knowledge - Waterfall required, agile and other methodologies preferredBusiness Analyst Experience preferredProject Management or Delivery Management ExperienceProduct Owner experience or knowledgeMeeting facilitationPersuasive communication and facilitation techniquesExcellent written and verbal communicationNegotiation and productive conflict management#J-18808-Ljbffr
