- Minimum 1-year experience as a Hospice Aide in a healthcare or home care environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with current automobile insurance.
- Strong communication skills.
- Adherence to established standards and practices.
- Ability to meet physical demands of patient care.
- Self-motivated with excellent teamwork skills.
- Maintains a positive attitude for optimal performance.
- Shows empathy, discretion, and dedication to Agency's objectives.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment for patients.
- Assist patients with safe ambulation and transfer techniques.
- Support patient's nutritional needs and record vital signs.
- Follow infection control procedures.
- Adhere to the care plan for each patient.
- Provide emotional support to patients and family members.
- Establish trust and confidentiality with patients and families.
- Communicate with Clinical Manager for schedule changes or replacements.
- Accept additional assignments during staffing challenges or emergencies.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and quality standards.
- Efficiently organize daily visit schedules to minimize travel time.
- Follow OSHA and infection control policies.
- Perform assigned duties diligently.
