    IT Quality Analyst Advisor

    Our work depends on IT Quality Analyst Advisor joining our team to manage and prioritize our product backlog and act as a main point of contact between the teams and stakeholders, report and track defects in the system to maintain our specialized set of purpose-built software applications to support the OCDETF program in its mission to combat transnational organized crime, money laundering, and major drug trafficking networks.

    HOW AN IT QUALITY ANALYST ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
    Reviews and evaluates software products and systems to ensure adherence to company and customer quality standards. Develops software/systems testing procedures and conducts tests
    Act as an Agile Product Owner to represent the team with stakeholders
    Regularly groom the backlog with the Agile Scrum Master and Team Leadership
    Work closely with the team to provide cross functional support to resolve defects and errors in software products and systems
    Collect and communicate quantitative and qualitative findings from test results to various IT teams - Resolve moderately complex product issues and track progress
    Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology and trends in IT quality assurance

    Prior experience with automated testing is preferred
    Coach and provide guidance to less experienced team members
    Proficient experience creating user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, and test plans/cases
    Proven understanding of solutions development methodologies (e.g. DevOps, Agile, Software Development Lifecycle, etc.)
    Lean-Agile mindset proficient in the understanding and becoming familiar with the Lean-Agile mindset
    Define product features according to customer needs
    Work independently under general supervision

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

    Education:
    Technical Training, Certification(s) or relevant Degree
    Required

    Experience:

    5+ years of related experience, in lieu of meeting the education requirement, additional experience may be substituted

    Skills:

    Experience in quality assurance of complex software systems, experience as an Agile Product Owner

    Security Clearance Level:
    Secret

    Required Skills and Abilities:
    strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly and effectively communicate with stakeholders and software developers

    Skills:

    Agile Product Owner certification, ISTQB certified tester
