Marcum Search is assisting our client in identifying an

Accounts Payable

professional for their high-end retail and design business in

Bridgehampton, Long Island, NY . An Accounting Degree plus 3 years of related experience is preferred. ***Familiarity with construction or landscape design industry a plus.


Responsibilities:
Responsible for daily posting of accounts payable entries.

Accounts payable department is responsible for: reconciling outstanding balance with all vendors, ensure proper receipts/invoices are received for all payments and charges with proper approval(s), maintaining digital vendor files with all appropriate backup, filing sales/use tax, filing vehicle related taxes, ensure renewals for licenses and certificates are applied and paid for on time, and obtaining renewal insurance certificates for subcontractors.

Build reporting backup and insurance certificate package for annual Workers Comp and General Liability audits.

Back up for weekly check runs.

Job costing overflow and backup to include costing of timesheets, posting inventory transactions to projects, costing subcontractor and material purchase orders.

Create and post project invoices as directed.


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.

3 + years of related experience is required.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Knowledge of Sage, Acumatica ERPs, and Salesforce a plus.


Salary:
$70K to $85K + bonus - based upon experience (FLEXIBLE)

8am-5pm F/T onsite
