Responsibilities
+- This position is responsible for assisting the project team with the software development process associated with both existing new PLC based control systems These systems often include the design of both digital analog control strategies interfaces to field instrumentation new Operator graphic screens interfaces to other control systems and interfaces to external computing platforms
- As a member of the Automation team this position includes assisting more senior engineers with preparing the project functional specification project test specifications developing PLC code HMI graphics executing a software Factory Acceptance Test performing on-site commissioning start-up Assisting with control system check-out commissioning start-up is also a responsibility of this position Project work associated with this position will vary may involve control system upgrades expansions or new deployments
Qualifications
+- Be legally eligible work in US without sponsorship Associates Bachelor degree Electrical Engineering Electrical Engineering Technology Chemical Engineering related field equivalent experience Consideration given other engineering degrees based degree course work previous job experience Preference given those Rockwell Siemens PLC based control systems exposure
- A minimum two years contributing programming/integration or supporting plant operations Ability multitask between multiple projects Good written oral communication skills Travel estimated consisting day overnight travel required
