- Establishes and monitors quality assurance, quality control, proficiency testing and routine maintenance policies and procedures.
- Establishes and monitors policies and procedures for overall testing performance.

- Maintains awareness of and compliance with state and federal regulations regarding laboratory operations and licensing.

Responsible for the efficient operation of a moderate or high complexity laboratory facility. Ensures accurate and timely testing procedures. Assures compliance with applicable regulations regarding laboratory operations. Participates in site specific daily operations, communications and patient flow. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates degree in Medical Technology or related science field, Bachelors degree in Medical Technology preferred. Minimum five years experience in laboratory testing. Previous supervisory experience preferred. ASCP or equivalent certification required. Current state licensure if required.
