- Handling national and international projects from hand-off to final acceptance at customer site
- Serve as main contact between customer and IPTE local team/IPTE worldwide team
- Coordination and technical management of the project team
- Track project in all phases to ensure that the following: Scope of project meets customer specitication Timing meets customer deadline Adherence to project budget Risks are limited and mitigated Forecast of project is accurate for resource and finance planning
- Manage claims when scope requested by customer is beyond the specifications
- Creation of documentation for all customer agreements and sign-offs
- Communicate as needed with engineers, purchasers, technicians, external contractors, suppliers and customers
- Work within project assignment constraints including scope, budget and timeline
- Understand health, safety and quality compliance standards for the country in which the work is performed
- Provide status updates to customer and internal IPTE stakeholders
- Support the development of proposals/quotations for new projects being bid by IPTE
- Follow all required Health and Safety procedures of IPTE
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Software Engineering or similar
- Experience in automotive or electronics manufacturing is preferred but not required.
- Practical knowledge of machine/automation design
- Proficient and fluency of PC based Microsoft Suites
- An ability to work effectively with customers according to deadlines
- Ability to work under pressure is essential
- Good communication skills, both written and oral, which are necessary within a project both internally and in relation with the customer
- Ability to work in teams and independently to solve technical challenges
- Travel up to 25% (National and International)
