    What you will do:

    • Manage and review certified payroll reporting for state construction contracts. Verify against field surveys and prevailing wage contracts. Use MnDOT Civil Rights and Labor (CRL) system for Labor Compliance payroll verification. Document Equal Employment Opportunity reporting as required by for specific construction contracts.
    • Assist in administrative tasks including editing, reporting, and organizing Construction Group documents and materials. Organize and maintain a database for construction pursuits and client relations.
    • Work with Construction Group Management on presentations and proposal development.
    • Assist in scheduling training for staff and maintaining equipment certifications.
    • Perform document management tasks in SharePoint and other software systems.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    What you will bring:
    • A detail oriented person with data entry skills sufficient to search, review and accurately enter data in multiple software packages.
    • Experience with Office 365 including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required. Word Processing and editing skills sufficient to prepare and review correspondence, reports and proposals.
    • Experience with AASHTOWare Project CRL, SharePoint, or other similar software packages (or ability to learn).
    • Customer service skills sufficient to communicate effectively and provide information to staff, clients, and contractors in multiple locations.
    • Ability to receive and react to changes in priorities and implement these changes into the daily schedule to meet deadlines.
    • Organizational skills necessary to prioritize work responsibilities and work with minimal supervision.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • A two-year degree in Accounting, Payroll, or Administrative Assistant.
    • Two or more years of experience with certified payrolls using MnDOT's CRL system.
    • Experience working in an environment of competing priorities.
    • Knowledge of SharePoint or related experience.
    • Knowledge of the heavy highway construction a plus.
