    IT Support Specialist

    We are partnering with an IT solutions provider in its search for a full time IT Support Specialist to work onsite in Beverly, MA. The individual in this role will be responsible for helpdesk, troubleshooting, and desktop support. Applicants must be able to work onsite in Beverly, MA to be eligible for this position.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including network connectivity, email configuration, and software glitches
    • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications
    • Assist in the setup and deployment of new workstations, laptops, and mobile devices for employees
    • Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues and ensure timely resolution
    • Document and maintain records of IT support requests, resolutions, and system configurations
    • Conduct regular system maintenance tasks, such as software updates, antivirus scans, and system backups
    • Manage user accounts and permissions across various systems and applications, ensuring data security and compliance
    • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to provide proactive recommendations for improving IT infrastructure and processes

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience required
    • 6+ years of information technology industry experience
    • Proficient in Technical Support, Troubleshooting, and Help Desk Support
    • Experience with Break Fix, Basic Switch, PC, and Office 365 strongly preferred
    • Strong communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to others with varying levels of technical knowledge
    • Excellent organizational skills and time management
    • Ability to balance various responsibilities and meet tight deadlines
    • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, MCSA, MCSE, Network+, etc. would be a plus
