    About the Position:

    As a critical member of our engineering team, you will play a key role in supporting our business objectives by applying engineering theories and concepts with minimal supervision. Your work will demonstrate engineering leadership and expertise, and you will be responsible for conducting feasibility studies, providing cost estimates, and establishing engineering criteria. Your problem-solving skills and creative thinking will be essential in tackling complex issues while emphasizing teamwork, strategic planning, and achieving project goals.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Contribute actively to enhancing engineering and quality processes by suggesting process enhancements.
    • Utilize acquired engineering skills in your daily tasks.
    • Solve challenging problems independently by applying your problem-solving abilities.
    • Leverage supply chain cost and economic principles in your work.
    • Independently manage engineering tasks with minimal supervision.
    • Identify opportunities for enhancing products and processes.
    • Devise and implement engineering strategies for projects.
    • Present work outcomes clearly and concisely.
    • Demonstrate excellent planning, project management, and leadership capabilities.
    • Engage in proposing and planning projects for budget approval.
    • Undertake additional responsibilities as needed to meet business objectives.
    • Bring experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of plant operations.

    Qualifications:

    To excel in this role, you must be capable of successfully fulfilling each essential duty. The following qualifications indicate the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities:

    • Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited program.
    • Possess over 4 years of professional engineering experience with a proven track record of delivering results.
    • Experience in project management may be required for certain assignments, with a preference for process engineering expertise.
    • Familiarity with Lean principles and their application.
    • Demonstrate strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills in mechanical aspects.
    • Knowledgeable in various metal processing techniques, including manual and automated methods, and capable of specifying necessary tooling.
    • Proficient in reading blueprints and understanding GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing).
    • Adept at evaluating process concepts and identifying areas for continuous improvement.
    • Effective communicator across all organizational levels and able to foster positive relationships with team members.
    • Skilled in utilizing standard office automation, communication software, and engineering-related tools, including MillerKnoll mainframe applications.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and a knack for applying engineering expertise to address challenges.
    • Capable of setting priorities, making decisions autonomously, and adapting to changing project requirements.
    • Possess a comprehensive business acumen and understand the impact of decisions on business outcomes.
