Configuration Management Analyst, Journeyman with Security Clearance - California, MD, United States - V2X

Responsibilities The Configuration Management Analyst, Journeyman provides support to PMA-205 at the Patuxent River, MD Naval Aviation Training Systems Program Office
The Configuration Management Analyst will be a member of the IPT and shall provide Configuration Management/Data Management (CM/DM) support in accordance with established processes
Collects, organizes, and interprets data relating to aircraft training systems
Maintains configuration control of acquisition products and data
Tracks configuration changes
Coordinates and supports development of Engineering Change Proposals
Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management, and data management
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's Degree
OR Associate's degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the description and duties/responsibilities sections of the labor category may be substituted for a master's degree
OR Four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the description and duties/responsibilities sections of the labor category may be substituted for a master's degree
Experience:
Three (3) - Ten (10) years of experience performing the items listed under duties and responsibilities
A Journeyman level person typically performs all functional duties independently
Other Requirements:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S
Citizenship is required
Desired Qualifications:
At least - 5 years of experience supporting NAVAIR / PMA programs in understanding and experience with government databases and data entry
Proficiency using CMPRO
Skills & Technology Used Analytical Thinking &

Possesses both analytical and interpersonal skills
Good problem solving, negotiation and organizational skills/techniques
Business Partner/Effective Communicator:
English language skills to communicate and negotiate with vendors
Strong communicator must be able to communicate clearly both in writing and orally
Ability to train, lead projects, direct employees
Customer service oriented, detail focused, pro-active behavior, multi-task capability
Software:
Microsoft Office Suite Excel Outlook SharePoint Teams Computer, printer, copy machine and other general office equipment

The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company
USD $80,000 - $86,000 Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States
