Job Summary
Reporting to the Chair of the Fred and Dinah Gretsch School of Music, the Assistant Professor of Trombone/Jazz will be expected to:
Teach Applied Trombone and/or other related courses;
Direct the Georgia Southern University Jazz Ensemble;
Actively recruit potential music majors;
Attend faculty meetings for the School of Music, the Instrumental Area, and other committee meetings as assigned;
Serve on jury and recital hearing panels;
The salary is competitive based on qualifications.
