Job Function :

Coordination of day-to-day logistical activities including shipments to and from NJ, CA and consignment warehouses while monitoring and approving associated costs.

Major Duties:

• Coordinate local relationships with freight carriers; establish and maintain pricing and account details.

Facilitate daily freight pick-ups.
Approve freight bills.

• Schedule incoming containers and communicate appointment to warehouse staff.
• Manage sub-shipment program.
• Assist with international shipment process.
• Coordinate consignment and CA warehouse transfers and replenishments per requests from Purchasing Department.

Provide SAP, inventory, logistics and sales support to CA warehouse. Approve all associated invoices for payment.
Provide operational support to NJ warehouse including scheduling forklift repairs, storage trailer moves and waste removal. Approve all associated invoices for payment.


Minimum Requirements:

• Strong administrative background, capable of handling several projects at the same time, extremely well organized, exceptional attention to detail and follow up.
• Highly motivated, self-starter, little supervision required.
• Skilled in Microsoft Windows applications, SAP and the internet.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
