This role will directly support the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Weather Service (NWS) National Centers for Environmental Prediction (NCEP) Central Operations (NCO) division for the compute, storage, and networking within the data centers that support the Integrated Dissemination Program (IDP) and Compute Farms (CFs).

This partnership will allow the Government to concentrate on its core missions, while also leveraging private sector expertise to manage state-of-the-art data center infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities:

Nrtwork Administrative activities include:
Patching devices monthly or on as needed basis for vulnerabilitiesResolve daily issues on network devices and escalate if assistance requiredTroubleshoot issues on TACACS, Load balancers, Switches, and routersTroubleshoot issues on Certificate and PKI infrastructureMust be available for 24x7 on call rotationResolve help desk ticketsMust be able to work with oversite to execute against a set of requirements

Job Requirements:

Should have working knowledge of Cisco, Dell, Juniper and Citrix network devices and load balancersAbility to identify and troubleshoot and resolve tickets opened for routine tasks.

Identify network failures and resolve the issues.
