    The Shift Supervisor plays a key role in assisting the store management team with retail operations.

    • To excel in this position, one must possess exceptional communication skills:
    1. Effective information relay between store personnel and management is crucial.
    2. Confidentiality of specified information is essential.
    3. Demonstrating exemplary customer service is vital.
    4. Ongoing communication with all staff throughout the workday is necessary.
    5. Providing guidance and clear instruction to retail associates is key to success.
    • Employee accountability and productivity are paramount:
    1. Operational effectiveness using procedural guidelines is mandatory.
    2. Evaluating employee performance is an essential function.
    3. Ensuring each store meets production goals is critical.
    4. Accurate and timely employee time management is required.
    • Safety and Loss Prevention are top priorities:
    1. Reporting and preventing any safety concerns or health violations is essential.
    2. Maintaining vigilance on the sales floor and backroom for loss prevention is necessary.
    3. Counting and balancing register cash drawers to prepare bank deposits is a critical task.
    4. Familiarity with Consumer Product Safety Commission recalls and the Hazardous Communication Policy and Procedures is mandatory.

    The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
