- Performs field inspections and assures that work meets standards and specifications
- Creates timely and succinct documentation of construction activities and inspection findings
- Operates company vehicle traveling to construction sites or delivering materials samples
- Apply engineering judgement to produce designs, specifications and contract documents
- Use Bentley Microstation and OpenRoads software and be able to apply design standards to produce plan sets for proposed improvements
- Coordinate with reviewers to ensure accuracy and quality of work
- Perform work within project deadlines
- Strong communication skills - verbal and written
- Experience with CAD software - Bentley OpenRoads preferred
- B.S. degree in civil engineering preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- A general knowledge of construction techniques and an ability to read plans and specifications
- Must possess a valid Utah driver license and maintain a clean driving record
- Willingness to work on projects locally or at various job sites throughout southern Utah
