PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
The registered nurse for Outpatient RN CAP 1 is part of the Clinical Advancement Program. This role involves delivering competent care for a group of patients, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Responsibilities may include delegating tasks to other healthcare staff. As a member of the End Stage Kidney Disease health care team, this position engages in decision-making, teaching, leadership, and quality improvement activities to enhance patient care outcomes and facility operations.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Expectations are to be met following Fresenius Kidney Care policies, procedures, nursing standards, and regulations:
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
This role involves direct patient care, including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods. The work environment may expose individuals to infectious diseases, while tasks include desk work, computer work, and interacting with patients and staff.
