JOB SUMMARY:

Skilled OR Nurse required with Scrub and circulating RN skills in the following specialties: Ortho, Podiatry, Urology, general surgery, - minimally invasive & Robot and vascular.

Flexible and a good communicator with ability to work effectively in a team setting.


EDUCATION:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Currently licensed to practice as a RN in the state.
• BLS certification required. (American Heart Association)
• Successful completion of all orientation programs.
• Available to work at least 2 days per month with flexibility in hours and willingness to do on call a plus.

Founded in 1917, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Rahway is an acute care community hospital that provides inpatient and outpatient medical and surgical services.

RWJ Rahway s emergency department cares for more than 32,000 patients per year. The hospital is a Primary Stroke Center with telemedicine capability for 24/7 coverage.

The campus is home to Care Connection, a 24 bed licensed subacute rehab unit owned by Alaris Health, and Kindred Hospital New Jersey Rahway, a 34 bed long term acute care hospital for medically complex patients who need intense specialized treatment for an extended period of time.

The hospital provides extensive therapeutic services including physical, occupational speech and hearing. For those with heart and lung disease, the hospital has cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation.
